Support Research
Support the UAB Civitan International Research Center
We specifically seek support to:
- Create new research funds to support research projects, pilot projects and bridge funding for investigators in the area of developmental disabilities.
- Support new trainees and fellows and emerging scholars so that we can continue to educate and mentor young scientists and clinicians in developmental disabilities.
- Establish funds to support clinical and translational research to help improve the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
- Establish lectureships, fellowships, scholarships, and professorships.
Ways to Give
Various giving options are available below. For those who would rather print out a form and mail it, a contribution form in PDF format is included. For others who would rather make a cash contribution online, a link is provided to the UAB Online Giving System. All you need is your web browser and a credit card. It is a simple and secure method using their secure server. Cash contributions have the advantage of providing an immediate benefit to the recipient, and the actual cost to the donor may be reduced in many cases thereby providing a tax saving gained through a charitable contribution deduction.
